Get to work with animals

you have to do lots of lifting

It is great working with the cats/dogs every day and really seeing the difference it makes.

-Non-profit, therefor there are always funding considerations and when you have employees to pay sometimes that causes issues. There have been a few times my paycheck has been late. -Management didn't trust each other and there was a lot of tension -Some of the stories the animals come in with, ridiculous reasons people surrender, etc, can be a little taxing -Working conditions aren't the best. There were a lot of things that needed to be fixed, or things that we needed in general to make our jobs easier. Summertime was difficult to work in the cat area- it was very hot.
