Pros
Angel Medical Systems is developing new technology for heart attack detection. Many hundreds of thousands of people are affected by heart attacks each year and are likely to benefit from this technology. The founders have a long history of startups and financing. This startup has a tremendous upside potential both in lives to be saved and in financial incentives.
Cons
Senior management challenge employees in unexpected ways. The compensation package is not likely to be lucrative when compared to other medical device companies however, the benefit package is on par and comfortable. Communication across departments is infrequent and not formalized and some senior managers will not allow communications to occur without their prior approval.
