AE has grown rapidly in the past few years. Office to office workflows are not uniform leading to inconsistencies.

Hard to gain any benefit for going above and beyond the call of duty. You are stuck on a pre-determined path for advancement and compensation no matter how hard you work. To many this is fine, but others occasionally have higher ambitions.
