Pros
Great place to start a career. Plenty of training, and they ramp responsibility quickly. Within a couple of years, you're managing small teams and eventually larger teams. Much faster ramp than peers outside of consulting
Cons
Career trajectory is highly dependent on a partner who looks out for you. If your partner is active in managing your career, it's great. If they aren't vocal ... you're in trouble. Finding someone to watch out for you is key. Get used to life on the road. No matter what industry you're in, you're going to be away from home for quite a while.
