Pros
Good office location in Flatiron. Easy to get to and plenty of lunch options. Sense of solidarity amongst coworkers about how bad it is. You feel like you're part of a community that way.
Cons
Every brand project is a fire drill. You will be making deck edits until 10 minutes before the meeting starts. You'll get a "good job," then rinse and repeat. You will be working late and on weekends regularly while the ECD is on vacation, also regularly. Don't mention any evening plans you have because you will oddly be working late that day when you do. Senior managers are helpful, but can only do so much when ECD constantly throws a wrench in the process. Major bottlenecks happen because of it. The nature of the work is repetitive. You have to really love luxury real estate branding. Always had a sense of dread when a new project was starting because of how miserable the process is. Employees who left to work at other companies have come back here and I cannot, for the life of me, understand why.
