Ancera is a pioneer in microbial risk assessment and monitoring solutions for the food industry. It's really nice to be able to go to work everyday & know I'm working on novel technologies that have the potential to really impact the lives of other people by keeping the food we eat safer from pathogens & spoilage organisms. My teammates at Ancera are among some of the best people I've worked with-- intelligent, innovative, & hardworking, but perhaps even more importantly to a good work environment, kind. Benefits package is very generous, particularly for a tech startup. Excellent PTO policy, generous number of paid holidays each year (11 scheduled for calendar year 2021), a wide variety of insurance options, & optional investment plans.
Cons
It's a tech startup, so it's fast-paced & we work very hard. If you're mentally invested in the work you're doing though, that's not a con!
