Pros

- Great hires. AP hired smart and really nice people - You get exposure to lots of great companies - You learn strong project management skills - Company is growing fast so maybe worth it to stay for medium-long haul and then cash out but not doing too many favors to your long-term career growth if you’re interested in analytics

Cons

- No career growth/transferable skills unless you’re committed to marketing strategy. They use in-house software, which is powerful, but doesn’t allow you to expand on analytical skills - Work/life balance sucks - Management looks down on vacations lasting longer than 1 week, regardless of how much of a heads up they get - Need to do the job of the next level for 1+ years before you finally get the promotion - Really high turnover - “Churn and burn” type of company. Since they’re an analytics consultancy, the focus is on producing results as quickly as possible. Makes it harder to learn the analytics properly and project mistakes aren’t addressed to the extent they should be - Severely understaffed on most projects - Trying to return to office as much as possible so they aren’t flexible on remote work as the norm - Staffing resources is focused on management as opposed to analysts
