Pros
The analysts and team managers were all amazing. Considering the workload and amount of hours worked, everyone had a great attitude and was always willing to help one another out. Medical and dental were decent and given quickly after being hired.
Cons
Pay was extremely low (even with 10+ years of Credit Analyst experience). The hours were supposed to be 9-5pm however for months and months the team was required to be there until the queues were "caught up" which was at least 6pm, but usually later, and weekend work was pretty much always required to "catch up" as well. There was absolutely no work life balance in this role. Also, there was no OT pay because the position was salary which made the low pay feel even more degrading. The amount of PTO was also lacking in comparison to other financial service companies I've been at in the past. There were also a lot of call-ins which I understood given how overworkedand underpaid the staff was, everyone was burned out. The higher management staff in this department could be harsh and overbearing at times but they were probably under a lot of pressure as well.
