Toxic Leadership and Constant Turnover - Real Estate Amtrust Realty Employee Review

I’ve been with Amtrust for over 5 years now, and the difference between where we started and where we are now is night and day. When I first joined, everything felt incredibly antiquated—from processes to technology. It was clear that the company needed a major overhaul, and I’m pleased to say that we’re finally heading in the right direction. Over the past year, I’ve noticed a significant shift towards modernization. New initiatives are being implemented, and there’s a fresh energy in the air. It’s exciting to see the company embrace change and make moves to stay competitive in the industry. However, there are still a few challenges. While most of the leadership team is on board with the new direction, there are still one or two higher-ups who are holding on to old ways of thinking. These individuals can be quite controlling, which sometimes stifles the progress we’re trying to make. It’s frustrating, but I’m hopeful that as the company continues to evolve, this will change too. Overall, I’m optimistic about the future here at Amtrust. The positive changes are noticeable, and I’m looking forward to seeing how we continue to grow.

This is without question one of the worst places I have ever worked. There is absolutely no leadership, no organization, and the people running the properties are completely backwards. The so-called “procedures” make zero sense, and the culture is toxic—built on finger-pointing, blame games, and trying to make employees look at fault rather than actually fixing problems. There is no diversity here, none at all. The benefits are mediocre at best, and there is absolutely no investment in employees. You will not learn, you will not grow, and you will find no career or personal development whatsoever. This company offers nothing but frustration and wasted time. If you receive a job offer here, I cannot stress enough—turn it down. Working here will be an absolute nightmare of an experience

Poor leadership, poor structure, and poorly managed properties—this place is a disaster from top to bottom. The benefits are subpar, and there is absolutely no investment in employee growth or development. There’s no real company culture—only hostility, aggression, constant yelling, and cursing. It’s a toxic environment that drags people down instead of building them up.
