10moThank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we're always open to feedback that helps us improve, it's important to address some of the concerns you've raised.
First and foremost, we’re genuinely sorry to hear that your 10 years with us did not meet your expectations. However, many of the statements presented do not reflect the company’s practices or the experiences of the broader team.
• Staffing and Operations: Like many companies in high-volume environments, we continuously monitor staffing needs and adjust accordingly. We recognize staffing challenges can happen and have established systems, including floater positions and cross-branch support, to mitigate those concerns. We also encourage open communication with leadership when support is needed.
• Promotions and Compensation: Promotions at Amscot are tied to a combination of performance, readiness, and business needs, and pay increases for promotions are given.
• Policy and Procedure Enforcement: We take policy adherence seriously. Allegations of misconduct or procedure violations are investigated thoroughly and addressed accordingly. We also hold all associates to the same standards, regardless of position.
• Scheduling Practices: Our policy requires schedules to be posted in advance to give employees predictability. When unexpected changes occur, managers are expected to communicate clearly and professionally with their teams. If schedules were changing daily without appropriate reason or notice, that would be a violation of our expectations.
• Work Environment and Morale: We strive to maintain a respectful, supportive workplace. If any associate feels unsafe, unsupported, or overlooked, we encourage them to bring their concerns to HR or senior leadership directly—something we emphasize during training and throughout employment.
While this review paints a very negative picture, it’s important to note that we have many dedicated team members who find value, growth, and long-term careers at Amscot. We remain committed to building a positive work environment, supporting our teams, and continuously improving where needed.
