Pros
Base pay + commission structure built for growth and consistency, leads are provided and solid (mostly), work from home, opportunity to learn, friendly atmosphere, laid back management, community that listens and continues to improve and work life balance. What company will start you at 18 hourly and allow you to advance to 24 hourly within your first year?... while also increasing your commission percentages?
Cons
The company is not past the start up growing pains; issues with carriers, issues with dialers, issues with marketing, they come with the territory. The product is the biggest con for me, the company culture has shifted and gotten away from the helping families to sell whats best for the company. Products need improvement and its a slow process. The commission sucks for agents that are good until they make it to the higher payment structure. Its a grind to get there, 3 months at quota and then 6 months for senior, this is a well paying position for an EXCELLENT sales agent. Mediocre agents will not be paid well, they will not promote, they will say the position was too hard and the pay sucked, but its likely because they didnt learn the product and how to sell it, didnt listen to manager feedback or just didnt have the sales skills and drive. Compliance is a lil sketchy which may be a pro for some but personally not a fan. Training is lacking, they teach you the basics and hope you can figure the rest out (its completely possible).
