Pros
Fast moving start-up culture, lots of opportunities to travel, lots of other perks (e.g. free snacks and drinks, free LL Bean jackets and bags).
Cons
Chaotic environment at the whim of reacting to launching a viable product that must swim or sink. Employees do not get to share in the creation of the vision or even understand what it truly means for their own roles. Management will tell employees otherwise. However, directives are handed down and employees are expected to race forward with them with no time for thoughtful consideration or discussion. Hard for employees to surface what issues they are having and get them resolved. If you are looking to experience what the early stages of a start-up is like this may be the place for you. Otherwise, experienced professionals looking for real career development and growth should wait until this company matures and has had a chance to establish some structure.
