Pros
Even though this place is absolutely horrible to work for, there are a few pros. The work environment is creative, most employees are personable, you can build your portfolio on their dime, and you get a small employee discount.
Cons
Worst company I have ever worked for! As many others have mentioned, this company has ZERO respect for your personal time. This is a family run business and they only care about themselves. One of the owners/directors is notorious for giving out last minute projects at the very end of the day. You are expected to get the job done no matter how many hours it takes. This particular director will keep you at the office until 10PM or later when you should have left at 6PM. The director will not even thank you or appreciate your efforts, yet has no problem sending rude emails or text messages to your personal phone that the company does not pay for. If you work here, they act as if they OWN you and all of your personal time. You can forget about having a life outside of the office. One of the other owners/directors is EXTREMELY abrasive. The way this person talks to people is always degrading and condescending. You will get blamed for things you had no part or control of. The kind of behavior the owners dish out would NEVER be tolerated in a corporation or company with a legit HR department. No matter how good of an employee you are, you WILL be blamed for all of their failures and shortcomings. Worst of all, they do not pay on time and often times write BAD PAYCHECKS. Several people have experienced bounced paychecks. Getting paid is a basic right as an employee. Since they do NOT offer direct deposit, you are SOL. For an employee to be treated so poorly and not even get paid is AWFUL. They really need to be investigated by the department of labor because something SHADY is going on. I'm sure the owners will try to down play these Glassdoor reviews but DO NOT listen to them. They frequently LIE. Look at all of the bad reviews posted here. As somebody who has worked here, I can vouch that the bad reviews are true. I have a feeling that the only good review was posted by one of the owners of the company. People quit left and right because they are sick and tired of being treated so poorly. APPRECIATION is key to keeping good employees. When people quit, sometimes within a few days of each other, you know there is something WRONG with the company, not the people.
