Pros

Work with extremely smart and talented people who really care about the mission, some of the most elite collaborators you will find in all of Edtech Highly experienced leadership whom you will learn a lot from On a successful business trajectory, with a product that really works efficacy-wise

Cons

This is not a cushy job. Amira operates with the pace and culture of an elite "early stage" startup despite being the size and impact of a late stage one.

Pros

Amazing Employees & engineers Good benefits Remote work Good pay and compensation

Cons

ZERO investment in tech debt or developer experience You cannot have an AI focused org without a heavy focus on testing or the systems to support it. Over-working employees then getting upset at them when a mistake happens and the organization doesn't have the processes or support needed to catch said issues Complete inability to see more than 5 feet in front of us Purely reactive never proactive Lots of talk about "failing fast" yet never seeming to learn from their mistakes. No test environment or proper staging environment, throw stuff over the wall Verbally abusive and temperamental CTO long long workdays, after-hours and weekend work Crunch time is all the time
