little to no onboarding. unclear expectations. constantly shifting priorities. passive-aggressive communication. micromanagement disguised as feedback. a culture where employees are often expected to read minds rather than receive clear direction. recognition was inconsistent, while criticism was abundant.
the marketing department in particular felt reactive rather than strategic, with limited guidance, coaching, or long-term vision. success often seemed dependent on navigating personalities rather than being empowered to do great work.
