Overworked and underpaid. Micromanaged. Continued ignorance of reality from the Executive level.
Upper level management continuously resists employee feedback.
Forcing everyone back into to office to increase their daily expenses yet not responding to the post pandemic drastic increase of living costs.
They felt that small, heavily taxed retention bonuses spread over time would help. However people just waited it out while slacking off in the meantime before quitting at the exact rates they were prior to the bonuses being offered.
They very hastily and unnecessarily decided to reorganize the whole claims handling process and failed miserably.
Between that and the fact that they allow adjusters and reps to be easily poached by other carriers, the employees left behind are just saddled with extra work and burnt out, with no additional compensation or perks.
They COULD just the market rates, but instead want to tout their “generous” benefits plan as part of compensation. It’s literally the same exact copays and out of pocket deductible amounts as any job.
Thankfully I was able to receive some assistance in the form of a covid relief check from the local government. It was sent because my income was recognized as within 80% of the local poverty level…
How do you expect employees to provide elite customer service to clients in their times of need when the same employees are hanging by a thread of nerves wondering if they’ll be able to make rent or afford groceries under the current conditions.
