Pros

Don't need a degree to work here Coworkers are nice, however you hardly ever see them If you like working at night (most appointments have to be 5PM or later after both homeowners are off of work)

Cons

Chasing unverified leads is the name of the game for this company. If you enjoy being on call from 8am to 7pm and having to drive up to and over 90 miles in any direction with almost no notice Monday through Saturday, then Ameritech is for you. They say you will get up to 2 leads a day, in actuality, you will be lucky to get 1 a day or even 6 in a week. Youll be attempting to sell the most expensive products out on the market (comparable to Renewal by Anderson prices). High pressure sales is the only way to make money in this 100% commission job. Which is hard to do when the company is telling people that the appointment is a free estimate, with no obligation to buy and will take at least 90 minutes, when they very well know that your presentation material is so vast you will be lucky to finish one appoinment in 3 hours. Finally, the company will send another employee out to rehash an appoinment that you spent hours driving to and presenting out to with your own car and own gas money, for them to just to sell it in about 30 minutes because the people have now had time to look around and do some research on their own before committing to such a major financial decision. But you don't get to see any commission on that sale, even though you did the bulk of the work at the "Free estimate".

Pros

The new hire is hardworking, reliable, quick to learn, works well with the team, punctual, professional, safety-focused, and eager to improve.

Cons

The new hire sometimes needs more experience with complex tasks, may require additional training to work independently, and occasionally takes longer to adapt to unexpected changes.

Pros

-Friendly people to work with

Cons

- Micromanaging extreme. The manager sits behind you at a desk and listens to your calls. It made me feel pressured.
