Pros

At one time, the company had processes in place that worked to manage the builder market well.

Cons

The builder market processes have been broken for years now. Lots of talk about fixing, but nothing positive has come out. There is absolutely no regard for life/work balance. Plan to work 18-20 hours per day, including weekends (no overtime paid) and still not be able to hit ridiculous deadlines. Very poor communication within the company. Quarterly bonuses will never be paid or will be paid in such a minute amount it is an insult for all the time you put into the job. Level of stress is unbearable. At this point, even the managers are over it. Very sad situation and ruining lives.

Pros

Direct manager cares and has goals in place to help improve the department. The core team is made up of great people that work well together.

Cons

Seems like the plant director is actively and intentionally making the entire plant worse. Zero accountability for disrespecting hourly workers even when it's brought to management's attention. Supervisors have completely checked out and refuse to provide the help needed for their people to succeed. Nonexistent advancement opportunities unless you go to church with or are friends with certain managers. Cliquey front office and improper use of employee information. Little to no diversity in management roles. There is a single manager that's a POC and he's their most recent hire.
