Middle management is clueless, upper management/executives are absolutely out of touch with employees. "If you're not making demos, Idgaf about your feelings!" is a direct quote from the 24 year old middle manager at the HdG call center, which as this person knows demos are absolutely out of the control of appointment setters; I suppose he is playing devil's advocate by letting you know that you don't matter. Terrible incentives that create an unnecessary competitive atmosphere which causes unnecessary drama within the work place. This company has almost zero benefits, that if you try to use, they will find a reason to terminate you to save them money. Revolving door, people are fired for so many different reasons its impossible to feel like you can have steady work there because you might be next on the chopping block. EVERYONE feels like they're gonna get fired, even management. If an exec or middle management makes a financial blunder, which is weekly, they compensate for money lost by terminating people that have absolutely nothing to do with the lost of revenue. They will never tell you why they are letting you go, if you ask, they just say repeatedly that they are "Parting ways". LOW WAGES for every position that isn't management. Terrible communication throughout the company. They've been in business for over 20 years but you'd never know it with how unorganized the place is run. Honestly, unless you're management material stay away from this place.
