Pros
Short workweek of 37.5 hours. Business casual dress. Decent job for the area. Mediocrity is acceptable. Decent PTO. Many of the positive reviews are from life long employees too afraid or unwilling to move on. The company benefits from being located in a community with many low paying jobs.
Cons
Rapidly changing priorities. Inflexible with working hours. Low pay. Lifetime employees that aren't willing to learn and do no more than required. Only continuing education the company supports is insurance education. Managers are more concerned with keeping their positions and pleasing boss than developing employees. Very small town, old school, we've always done it that way attitude. Management has done two employee surveys in two years, requested additional employees focus groups and has made minimal changes. Constant turnover in low paying support roles.
