      Pros

      Lots of onsite opportunities. Energetic teams. Company overall is financially good.

      Cons

      Absolutely not technically challenging. You learn products, not technology. You become a master of a sub component, inside a sub product, in one of the products. That way you can fix bugs quickly, but you hopelessly loose the complete picture. On job, you learn nothing useful outside amdocs. Super political and manipulative management. Bad work-life balance.

      Used to be a great place ro work, Not any more.

      Cons

      Completely Israel & Israeli focused. Current layong off 30 percent employees globally. But Israel is limited to 10 percent owing to Israeli shareholders. Only global organization in which the entire HR management is in Israel. So Amdocs is not really “global”. The management doesnt know how to become truly global. Most acquisitions are no longer contributing to the revenue. If you are in high cost country except Israel, dont expect growth.
