Pros

Remote working and some nice people

Cons

I have worked in several organisations in my career and this was by far my worst experience. It is a very toxic culture and that stems from the Partners, it was quite normal to see bullying of employees and trust in employees is non-existent. Leadership team lacks diversity. A lot of broken promises, will avoid to pay bonuses and payrises as much as they can. The company is basically a recruitment agency and no matter how hard you work it is never enough and a lot of good people were fired in the time I was there and that made job security a big concern. I could write so much more as this was a very negative experience and have since heard from ex-employees and they all had a similar experience.

Pros

- Genuinely remote first culture that trusts people to do their jobs without micromanaging - Fast growing business with real opportunity to make an impact and shape things from the ground up - Collaborative and supportive team environment where people want each other to succeed - Interesting and varied work across central government and public sector clients - Leadership that is accessible and open to new ideas - Investment in people through training budgets and upskilling, particularly around AI

Cons

- As a scale up, processes and structure are still being built out so it is not always clear cut - Benefits package is functional but not yet at the level of larger consultancies - The pace can be intense and the role can be ambiguous, which suits some people more than others!
