Pros

Remote working is the only pro.

Cons

The owners are bullies who don’t want to take on feedback and make reckless decisions with a hire and fire culture which negatively impacts the morale of employees. Attrition is high because there is a lack of trust for talented people to do their best work. There’s a pattern of broken promises from the owners including bonuses, pay rises, and an EV scheme which didn’t materialise. The company is badged as a consultancy but really it’s a glorified recruitment agency. Rubbish pension.

Pros

- Genuinely remote first culture that trusts people to do their jobs without micromanaging - Fast growing business with real opportunity to make an impact and shape things from the ground up - Collaborative and supportive team environment where people want each other to succeed - Interesting and varied work across central government and public sector clients - Leadership that is accessible and open to new ideas - Investment in people through training budgets and upskilling, particularly around AI

Cons

- As a scale up, processes and structure are still being built out so it is not always clear cut - Benefits package is functional but not yet at the level of larger consultancies - The pace can be intense and the role can be ambiguous, which suits some people more than others!
