Pros
Been driving for Flex since Jul17. I knew when I signed up that one of the conditions was you must have a 5 door car. I have a 3 door Ford KA but because a friend has a 3 door car he said they never worry at sites like Weybridge and Hayes. Since late Sept all that has sadly changed. They no longer accept 3 door cars due to management request but no real reason. My issue is simple. Why do they allow such 5 door cars like a Ford Fiesta or even a Hyundai i10 which is even smaller than my car ? Crazy eh ! They have no answer. In my 3 months of working I never refused to load anything. Always no problem to load a full trolley of say 50-60 boxes and parcels in the boot of my little KA, Only ever brought back 2 items out of the hundreds of items I delivered safely and securely to customers and they needed signatures due to high value and no neighbours around so had to bring them back. It is a real shame as Amazon are losing good, honest and hardworking drivers just because of this stupid ruling which nobody even in head office can offer an explanation! At this time of year you would think they would not worry as so many parcels what with Black Friday and Christmas coming, but do they care, do they heck !! I have had enough, just wanted a bit of extra income on top of my shift job but will now be looking elsewhere so bye bye Amazon Flex
Cons
Above is a con not a pro The pros of the job are good block times and you are your own boss
