Free health care and pension for full time employees, for now

Cons

They don’t value their employees. You’re just a number to them. They will up their base pay to bring in more help but won’t give raises to employees who have been there for years. Pros

Amalgamated Sugar offers a supportive, family-oriented culture where employees feel valued and connected, creating a strong sense of teamwork and pride across the organization. The company recognizes the importance of work-life balance by offering flexibility where possible, helping employees manage both their professional and personal commitments. With diverse opportunities across agriculture, processing, logistics, maintenance, engineering, IT, and corporate functions, employees have the ability to grow their skills, explore different roles, and build long-term careers within the company.

While Amalgamated Sugar offers many benefits, employees may experience seasonal long hours during peak times, work in more rural locations, and need to adapt to evolving processes while balancing responsibilities across teams.
