Pros

They offer infinite overtime under a relaxed setting. Every month during campaign 7 days off in a row.

I put in 144 hours in my first 2 weeks anxious to get on my feet. Pros

Amalgamated Sugar offers a supportive, family-oriented culture where employees feel valued and connected, creating a strong sense of teamwork and pride across the organization. The company recognizes the importance of work-life balance by offering flexibility where possible, helping employees manage both their professional and personal commitments. With diverse opportunities across agriculture, processing, logistics, maintenance, engineering, IT, and corporate functions, employees have the ability to grow their skills, explore different roles, and build long-term careers within the company.

Cons

While Amalgamated Sugar offers many benefits, employees may experience seasonal long hours during peak times, work in more rural locations, and need to adapt to evolving processes while balancing responsibilities across teams.
