Pros
They pay above market rate. If you want to retire then the location in the south of France is lovely. The atmosphere is laid back.
Cons
The technology is old and the idea of upgrading never precedes beyond talk. No architecture, design or thought goes into the software so it is a mess. Communication is astonishingly bad, both from sales to development, from managers to works and even between teams that are sitting beside each other. There is more interest in playing politics and blame than fixing anything. Management are clueless and seem unwilling or unable to do anything useful.
