Pros

There really isn't anything you can say that would be a positive. They can be flexible with time off. The benefits offered are decent.

Cons

If you are not in the right group you won't go far. It is a very backstabbing environment. NO personal growth. NO career path or training. The values seem to be, how much the employees can make us with the company giving back as little as they can to their employees. Which leads to being under paid, appreciated, valued or even given any respect. To answer "Absolutely Awful" posted on 12/10/14. "You do not need 200 people to handle an influx of 10 bug tickets per day." The reason for that is a deal Amtrust has with the city to get breaks. They promised so many jobs over a certain period. I have had a co-worker tell me there are a lot of people sitting around looking for some work. As long as Amtrust is receiving their breaks from the city they do not care who is doing what. That is just the nature of the beast. Never believe the company has your best interest at heart.

Pros

Flexible work hours. Great co-workers. My co-workers are friendly, easy to talk to and are willing to help you if they are able to.

Cons

Systems can give you issues at times and make it difficult to get work done.

Pros

Co-workers are amazing. Managers are helpful.

Cons

Rolling out an incomplete new operating system was a horrible idea. Creates additional work for adjusters. The processes being implemented are hindering the ability to effectively close claims. Adjusters are being told to do more with less every day. Claim counts average 180 to 200 for the last 6 months with no relief in sight. Hybrid work was promised at 2 home and 3 in office. That was recently revoked and it is now mandatory 4 days in office. With gas prices what they are, that really hurts. Corporate management seems to be focused more on obtaining #1 status and bringing in the big bucks than finding a way to relieve the stress on their employees. Mental health is non existent and if you aren't putting in 50+ hours a week there is no way to stay on top of your work load. Even then you will feel like you are barely treading water. New NICE phone system is for call centers-not claim adjusters. Not a lot of advancement opportunities unless you are someone's pet. Benefits are mediocre at best.
