Pros

Extra PTO days were nice

Many issues were brought to their attention in my latest review. They advised me to email into AEC. When I did and asked to speak to someone about the glaring liabilities of the company, it was ignored and closed out. I then sent a follow up asking why it was closed with no response. They have continued to ignore it. So I can only assume they felt it was better to ignore me as opposed to address the issues. They only care about employees to the extent that it can help or hurt their reputation. This stems form the top executive level and trickles down, presumably.

Very flexible and has a good community. It prides itself on bettering itself and its employees. Already have learned a lot in my first three weeks

Co-workers are amazing. Managers are helpful.

Cons

Rolling out an incomplete new operating system was a horrible idea. Creates additional work for adjusters. The processes being implemented are hindering the ability to effectively close claims. Adjusters are being told to do more with less every day. Claim counts average 180 to 200 for the last 6 months with no relief in sight. Hybrid work was promised at 2 home and 3 in office. That was recently revoked and it is now mandatory 4 days in office. With gas prices what they are, that really hurts. Corporate management seems to be focused more on obtaining #1 status and bringing in the big bucks than finding a way to relieve the stress on their employees. Mental health is non existent and if you aren't putting in 50+ hours a week there is no way to stay on top of your work load. Even then you will feel like you are barely treading water. New NICE phone system is for call centers-not claim adjusters. Not a lot of advancement opportunities unless you are someone's pet. Benefits are mediocre at best.
