Pros
Good salary and benefits but not worth the stress of the job
Cons
I worked as an ERP Business Analyst for a year at Altium and it was one of my worst working experiences. I can admit that I was inexperienced in some areas however it was difficult to learn due to poor leadership and lack of resources (purposely put in place by my director) . I was expected to not only lead projects but also lead as ERP Support which was misrepresented during the interview process. My director would gatekeep resources not only from the business but within our team which made it difficult to begin with. Definitely a situation where the favorites on my team had the privilege of not addressing their open item issues directly with other departments while myself and other employees (mostly black) were expected to own issues that we had no knowledge of. To make things worst , it was discouraged to ask our team members for help. Eventually I burned out and instead of addressing my performance professionally my director encouraged the entire office to bully and harass me to get me to quit. I documented everything and went to HR and of course they did not recognize my grievances as a hostile work environment. I was fired a month after making my HR complaint for something that was not addressed until AFTER I made a formal complaint. I suffered from major depression and anxiety mainly due to being overworked with limited resources and constantly dealing with intimidation from my boss on a daily basis. Leadership clearly encourages office bullying and intimidation and will gatekeep resources to ultimately sabotage your efforts. I can 100% take accountability for any of the faults of my own, this was a learning curve for me however the culture of this company is very toxic and I was truly set up to fail , especially after I started to voice my concerns about unfair treatment. I was made to feel incompetent when I had questions. I felt like I was treated like a disposable diversity hire where I was constantly mislead, scapegoated and over worked.
