I’m sure people are going to think, these are just written by disgruntled employees. You’re right. We are BECAUSE of this company. I had so much hope for this environment because I thought they shared the same values as me. But I was wrong. I have worked for the company twice, in a store and the home office. They do not value their employees. You are told to be kind when you are treated like scum. You get sick and call out, you get ignored and ostracized. Your kid needs you, too bad. The department comes first.
They expect the company to come first and not your personal life.
Guest services is a joke. Most of the people in that department don’t know how to do their jobs and the leadership that runs it, absolute idiots who will treat you like s***. They don’t even know how to properly do the job in the department. They certainly can’t train either.
I am so sad that this position didn’t work out. I really wanted it to, but it was destroying my mental health and physically.
