Pros

HMO insurance is pretty good.

Cons

Everything else. Pay is below average. The leadership simply doesn't care about bottom line employees. Nepotism runs rampant at the top. CEO and CAO are married. Bunch of other c level execs are sons, daughters, cousins or nephews. The family tree would shock you. If you're not a de la Rocha or Escobar, don't expect great things. We have top level leaders like the CAO, who demands people to show up to the office or she doesn't trust you... Yet blocks her calendar to study for school remotely. The hypocrisy is jaw dropping. There is so much disconnect between what the company needs to move forward vs the desires and the wishes of Castulo and Zoila. Their idea for increased retention is to preach the good ol days. That gospel will not make this an "employer of choice." The 5 star reviews on this are fake and done by the comm department. I recognize their writing style. Some are obviously sarcastic. My goal is to achieve a good answer to the interview question "so tell me a time you had to overcome a negative working experience." And man, I'll have pages and pages of cited references and stories.

Pros

Great health and dental insurance, and lots of opportunities to train. Good coworkers to lean on.

Cons

There are rarely any opportunities for part time positions, so most people end up stuck and aren't able to attend school full time unless they quit. A lot of favoritism and nepotism. If you bring up genuine concerns to management, they'll just spit out corporate policies instead of working on actual solutions to help employees and patients alike. Several employees have left due to burnout but management shames them for not being able to handle the huge workload.
