Thank you for your feedback. Quality is essential at Alta, in the products and service we deliver every day… but yes, in this role, quantity of outbound calls and activity is also extremely important, I can’t disagree with that. This particular job is similar to an SDR/BDR type of role in the beginning, where you’re performing outbound outreach to introduce prospects to our Product Managers and Account Executives, who will turn your initial conversations into relationships. The outbound role isn’t for everyone, as it is heavily quantitative just by nature. It also requires constantly trying different approaches, which do take a few months to measure, so again.. spot on. This role will eventually transition to that qualitative role as an AE or PM, but that initial year+ is heavy on outbound touches and connection handoffs and we need to do a better job communicating that up front.
