      Pros

      AltSource is a great place to work. The company is growing and the future looks bright. I've been here a few months and I honestly enjoy going to work every day for many reasons: • friendly, talented people • welcoming environment • good benefits • nice office space • terrific location Most people probably care about the list above, but then there are a bunch of other perks that I personally love but may not matter to you: • bike room • showers • music in the bathrooms • sit stand desks • big windows, lots of natural light • the kitchen is stocked with solid food and drink options I'm very happy here. I don't have any major complaints.

      Cons

      I read through some of the other Glassdoor reviews for AltSource and there seems to be concern around a lack of structure, organization, or clarity. This doesn't bother me at all, I view it as an opportunity to make an impact. I also noticed that some people thought that the positive reviews here are fake . While I may not be able to convince you otherwise, I assure you that I am as real as a person can be. HR did ask me to consider leaving a review, but I don't feel any pressure to overstate / embellish / praise or anything like that. I just think it's important to give job candidates a balanced impression of what's it's like to work at AltSource.

      Thanks for the positive review. Some do well with a flatter organizational structure, and others don't. For the sake of increased efficiency, customer value, and organizational processes, we have hired strong functional leadership to help fill some of those gaps that we hope will help support everyone! We're glad you view it as an opportunity for impact - that was always the prevailing "why" behind the structure.       it was really interesting to solve challenging technical problems with the projects and big plus side was amazing co workers.

      Cons

      there was major misalignment between sales and delivery
