Nice - Server/Waiter Alpine Restaurant Group Employee Review

Management does a great job motivating and educating the staff. They are loyal to their staff and they give opportunities for growth.

The food is so delicious you'll probably gain weight.

There are absolutely no pros.

The chef/owner, Joe, is an awful chef, and lacks good communication skills. The culinary director, Leo, is a small guy with Napoleon Syndrome who has an attitude problem and a bad habit of telling you obvious things that you already know. I find it hard to believe that they have multiple restaurants that are supposedly successful. Although that can probably be attributed to the cooks that don't mind working for horrible management. If you are a cook looking for a job, and looking to learn and further your career and want to look forward to going to work every day, avoid Alpine Restaurant Group at all costs.
