Pros

There's a lot of room to move up in the company, and the company has a merit-based structure for promotions. There's a strong focus on professional development. Colleagues are friendly and helpful. People work hard but are willing to lend a hand during busy times.

Cons

There's not necessarily enough employees for the amount of work, which results in a lot of evening and weekend work. Company is on a quarter system, so there's always a mad rush at the end of each quarter to finish projects so revenue gets counted for that quarter. Salary is not necessarily merit-based and low for the number of hours. Expectations are high, resulting in a lack of work/life balance.

Pros

There were some interesting projects, and you learn a lot about proper survey techniques, data analysis, and business storytelling. I enjoyed the creative process of taking data and making a story from it, using logical evaluations to create suggestions for our clients.

Cons

I felt very overworked. Towards the end of my time there, every person on was on 5 projects, each with aggressive timelines, and still wanting the same amazing level of quality that we could deliver if we were on 3 projects. It got to the point that I felt guilty and anxious for not being able to check my email and handle tasks while driving to and from the office. The turnover of employees was so consistent that even though the company was hiring consistently, people were leaving at the same rate.

Pros

Good client base built up over many years. Opportunity to learn different research methodologies & touch multiple projects.

Cons

The company has stumbled it's way through far too many poorly strategized corporate integrations followed by split outs. It's been confusing for our clients & bad for employee morale and just looks like leadership flip flops on decision making, which they do. Pay is not competitive, the cost of living in the Bay Area is high. Extremely poor 401(k) match. Employees medical contribution cost also went up this year. The current CEO has only been in post a relatively short time & has limited to no experience in the healthcare space which shows. Our Impactrx company partner has a reputation for delivering high cost reports that lack business insights & are just big data dumps. Their company culture is very different, they tend to be kinda arrogant drinking their own koolade reluctant to change. Their CEO seems full of his own self importance though my Horsham colleagues say he's rarely around & works from home most days of the week.
