Pros

Comp decent for first job out of college if you hit hurdle Client exposure early on

Cons

- Expected to be in office 3 days a week from 8-6 minimum no matter what your workload looks like - lately it seems like they have overhired and no one is hitting their hurdles for bonuses. Even previous top performers can’t hit their metrics - management is young and inexperienced. There are no “grown ups” around and it truly feels like the blind leading the blind. - They market the job as a pseudo-consulting type of role but please do not be fooled. You will spend 90% of your time recruiting. It gets very mundane. - Retention has been atrocious lately. Expect to see major business unit changes on a monthly basis and hop between accounts and manager. It really limits your ability to develop a strong growth story as a professional.

The Client Service role: A good way to describe the role is as a mixture of research, recruiting, and revenue generation. Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.

Pros

The team culture here is what keeps me around. People genuinely want to help each other do well, and it feels collaborative in a way that's hard to find elsewhere. What I've appreciated most is how much autonomy you get over your own career. I've been able to take on responsibility early, learn a ton, and grow quickly without anyone holding me back.

Cons

It's fast-paced and the bar is high. You've got to be comfortable figuring things out as you go. But honestly, if you like being challenged and want to develop fast, it's a great place to do that.
