Pros

– Great coworkers who are talented – Prime office location – Pay is good

Cons

– No diversity. If you're a white man who played lacrosse at Holy Cross, look no further! If that's not you, you might not fit in. – No clear company policy defined on any topic. Days off are supposedly according to the NYSE market calendar but that's not true. Don't come in on a day the market is closed and you might be the only one. – Management is full of itself and rarely responds to email, if they open it at all. – There is one stall for 50+ men to use, with a line throughout the day. Have to pee? Better go to Starbucks. – Management tries to make you think if you're not working 7-7 with availability though slack and email after-hours, you're not a team player and you should move on. – What management claims is "culture" is often used to silence dissent they don't agree with – No real benefits. They claim to have been working on this for years now but nothing has ever come of their buzzword meetings that make management feel like they're doing something without actually achieving anything. – The company talks a lot about career opportunities but when it comes down to it, they'll hire from outside the organization. – A lot of people have been with the company a long time and management looks the other way while they stay at home despite no WFH policy, don't meet targets, or take triple the vacation time they have. This won't fly with newer employees though.

Pros

Flexibility (full autonomy over schedule and location), office perks, tons of resources for self development

Cons

Increasingly toxic and cutthroat culture. Pay is below market rate. Quality appears to be less of a leadership priority and there is extreme inconsistency in terms of internal talent. Lots of closed-door conversations happening by leadership. No feasible upward mobility if you didn't start at the right time a few years ago.
