Excellent first job for college graduates. You learn practical application of skills and learn a vast array of parts of the graphics business. Small family environment
Cons
Low pay. Each shop is a franchise. I worked for the company for 4 years and never received a raise and was lead to believe I would get a raise but never happened. Small business and family environment can become uncomfortable when you are involved in personal lives of coworkers No compensation as a designer when that designer brings customers to the business.
