Everything else! They don’t tell you but among all your paperwork there is a contract for 12 months you must sign. I didn’t mind when it when I noticed it because I planned to stay for a long time. Then after a ton of training, they had no work! All summer for one month I made nothing! The next month I made $59.00!!! And when they said it would pick up, they still did not have work for some of us. And the ones who did get cases got mediocre hours. There is no communication with you unless you hound them. It was a nightmare!! Oh and the overlaps are a joke! None follows what you learn in training, and it’s so hard to see how that can affect the clients and their families. I got the pleasure of working with a teacher who after a roach walked across the floor, she told the student to use the spoon that fell where the roach crawled. I questioned her and she hated me for it, she said “well he’s not going to die” because everyone is used to just doing as she wants even if it means breaking ASI policy, like taking data at all times, my “trainer” literally just guessed at what she thought she remembered the kid do and how many times the child did certain things. I resigned and they were apologetic, but they are still hiring lol! And they said that I wouldn’t have to pay what was in the contract for leaving early after I told them how I felt. The HR rep I dealt with was terrible at communicating at first but then she was better at responding. None of this matter though if there is no work, and they don’t filter out and supervise their employees. They have incompetent people on the field while benching people who actually care about the children they service and the policies put in place to make these treatments work. Shame ASI! Never would I recommend working for them.
