Pros
Long hours if you want them doing variety of work you were not hired for Management hides in office
Cons
Expect to get laid off. Work here is seasonality Low pay No benefits at all No direct Deposit No stable schedule Unsafe equipment Lack of maintenance to equipment Equipment is JUNK. Old (early 1990s), dirty (probably has not been cleaned since 1990, not roadworthy Lack of sleep, everyone has bags under their eyes walks around like a zombie They are always hiring for a reason It is a revolving door, no normal employee will stay here long Management rather blame you or lie to you Management has no clue what so ever outside of drinking coffee in their office Will hold your paycheque to keep you from leaving Some kind of cashflow problem Violate labour laws This company will claim to have all sorts of types of trucks. Reality is they either don't leave the yard because they are not road worthy or there is no work for them. It is an illusion. Most are trucks are for parts Company rather have you ruin your license then put a vehicle in a shop, and when you do your paperwork for inspections stating it is unsafe they will give the unsafe vehicle to another driver. Rather have you get into accident then do repairs. Ruin your license...then they will fix the equipment AFTER so your stuck working for them
