Pros
Alloy is small (about 30 engineers) which gives it a comfortable 'startup' type feel. The small size and consulting style of work makes is so that everyone has constant productive, challenging, and usually fairly interesting work.
Cons
The building itself is pretty small which means everyone is working in close quarters. Also, at the moment Alloy specializes in mechanical design with a newly added electrical engineering capabilities, so there isn't the ID (industrial design) some other companies have.
