Pros

Big Brand name, Office parties, Outings

Cons

1. No scope for learning in terms of new technologies. Working on outdated technologies. 2. Bunch of idiot mangers who doesn't even know how to prepare excel sheets. They even don't know how to talk to your subordinates. 3. Developers who do the actual work are treated like stray animals and they have to bear most of the pressure. 4. Working on weekends, 15-16 hrs working , No work life balance , No comp offs. One can see everything happening here. 5. Senior exp. professionals are leaving which is making the new joiners a problem to learn technologies. 6. Favoritism is on peek and one can see its effect during appraisal. Office politics, Boot lickering everything is happening here. 7. Lot of fights can be seen happening in between tester, developers and business people on requirements. 8. No proper policies . No standard. 9. Management is least bothered about all this things they are only concerned about achieving target at less cost which is resulting in cutting people. 10 Pathetic work culture.

Pros

Good benefits, hybrid work arrangement is flexible (you can choose your 3 days in office)

Cons

Tenure and friendship is valued more than actual skillsets. Many people in Ops have no formal college education or true technical skills, and have been complacent in the dept for 10+ years. This leads to inefficient and stale processes that are reluctant to change. The culture is extremely passive aggressive and long-tenured employees are not welcoming to new hires from outside of the organization. People will go out of their way to sabotage opportunities for those offering new perspectives with greater value add. This causes forced interactions with low value collaboration. Many in analytical roles do not even understand basic Microsoft Office skills, Excel functions, V/XLOOKUPS, etc. and data is often reviewed manually per line item… This company is run like a low budget mom and pop shop where inefficient and backwards practices are toxically in circulation.
