Pros

The organization is filled with caring, experienced, and kind people. The Alliance's reputation and influence in the field allowed me to work with amazing partners locally and around California. During my time at the Alliance, we were completely remote. I'm not sure if that's still the case now, but it's a good place to work if you're looking for flexibility.

Cons

Like most nonprofits serving under-resourced communities, the Alliance has some work to do in terms of reaching a point where leadership and the board reflect the diversity of the communities the organization serves.

Pros

Super responsive, great and positive work environment, great place to get experience as a college student, to know whether or not public interest law is for you.

Cons

Remote? (if that's what you don't want), workload depends on actual case demand so sometimes its really hectic and other times not
