Pros

Awesome coworkers that actually care about what they are doing and are loyal to a company that continues to dump on them.

Cons

This company doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. -The Execs all moved to Miami and haven't visited the plants in over 3 years (way before COVID). They are so detached from reality that they have no idea what is happening in their facilities. -Execs bully their minions just to get financial gain for themselves. They don't care if the plants work 7 days a week, just as long as they make their numbers. -During COVID, they kept reducing positions, but increased the work for salaried employees. They also chose not to give anyone raises AND reduced pay for many salaried employees. More work for less pay is the Alliance motto. -The Corporate HR employees are pretty useless. Good luck getting any questions answered from anyone. You leave multiple voicemails, send emails and get no response. -Quality has tanked - there is a reason almost every single employee in the Quality Engineering department has quit. -It's pretty clear they are moving more and more jobs out of Ripon (hourly and salaried combined). Many engineers and technicians were let go and told their design engineering jobs are being outsourced.

Pros

Work schedule flexibility in engineering department and labs

Cons

HR has not done a very accurate market analysis in order to ensure the workers are being paid fairly. No plan for workers to grow but you can surely take on more responsibility. Be prepared to fight for any pay increases along the way as tenure and experience do not raise flags for promotions. Managers are not supportive they are only nodding that they hear white noise when you talk to them. They are not in it to help you grow only to secure their own position. Keep your resume up to date, stay marketable and continue to grow personally. Watch whom you confide in!
