Pros

Experience here may look good on a resume, if tweaked properly

Cons

Constant managerial complaints about how the company is loosing money hand over fist, while wasting vast sums of money on ill conceived pipe dreams that never amount to anything. Failure based on managements inability to make sound business decisions is always blamed on the staff. Prepare to be micromanaged on an intimate level, from being dictated unprofessional emails to send, to evening having your lunch controlled from when to what. Extremely poor pay,,and no bonuses whatsoever. Lack of proper pay is made up for by promises of stock options, which are never explained or defined. Management's childish temper tantrums, thinly veiled physical threats, and holes punched in walls are far to common occurrences. Many industry leading management professionals had been brought in over the years to 'fix' the company, but all left within months having been driven out by management. Management culture is driven by paranoid delusions and fantasies of grandeur. Everyone is an enemy, especially partners and customers. Fear of management's irrationality is a common theme for employees. Almost all tenured staff have quit for reasons related to the above observations.

Pros

I learned so many new things working for Allegro. The experience and knowledge that I gained from Allegro surpass any other company I've worked for in the past. The fact that this is a small company enables employees to look outside their area of expertise and the job title that they were hired for and learn new skills that will remain with them wherever they go.

Cons

Although being a small company helps the employees learn new skills, it can also be stressful as there isn't always someone to rely on for support or help. A lot of the work falls on the employees that are proficient and capable and they end up having to do tasks for others who are either not interested in being at the company or are just downright lazy.
