Pros

Easy work. Work from home.

Cons

No direction at all. I started as Spanish interpreter a month ago and I never receive any kind of contract, how I'll be getting pay. Any kind of training or which kind clients will be having. Anything, anything.

Pros

The staff at HQ is always very responsive with emails and taking calls. My service agreements are always sent to me before assignments with all the information I need for the assignment. My payments are processed in a timely manner.

Cons

The company does not provide direct deposit and not all checks clearly state what assignment is covered in that payment.

Pros

Pay was competitive, when there was no formal interview to be hired it should have raised a red flag.

Cons

Firstly I should mention I was offered a contract for employment which was rescinded less than 24 hours after I signed on with the company. Three months later I was offered the same contract over again, and out of desperation, I accepted. Though the pay was good, it didn't make up for their gigantic lack of other benefits (matching 401K, FSAs, career development, etc). Terrible paid time off plan (less than 10 days in a calendar year, and no sick time allotted for, and it was cumulative). In order to be vested in their profit sharing plan you need to work for the company for a minimum of 5 years. Most contracts last three, and if they're not extended / renewed this removes any of their profit sharing responsibility. My project manager did nothing to go out of their way to help me with any problems or issues, most times my phone calls and email messages would go completely ignored (even for urgent issues). When finally addressed it would never be an answer in favor of the employee. If you choose to work for this company be prepared to feel like you're just a revenue generator. If I could give them less than a one-star rating, I would. For the record, I was NOT fired from this company, nor was I laid off.
