Pros
Traveling and working with animals.
Cons
-NOT INSURED AS COMMERCIAL VEHICLES OR TRANSPORT VEHICLES.
-If ANYTHING happens to driver belongings, Drivers and pets are NOT COVERED.
-Management lies to customers and drivers and say whatever they think we want to hear to shut us up.
-They do not pay drivers promised salary, and you end up spending more than you make in travel expenses. You pay for food, showers, laundry, ect. The van is your road home, the passenger or driver seat are your beds.
-Owners DO NOT service their vehicles properly and they are known to catch fire. They lie to customers and say the van had a "mechanical issue" and they tell their insurance companies that their employees were "friends borrowing their private vehicle."
-No proper heating/cooling for the animals, or for the drivers
-Extreme and impossible driving schedules that constantly change, sometimes more than hourly.
-you end up making $0.20 per hour if you are lucky.
-Many of the animals come from disgusting "puppy mills" and are sold other mills and are often sick.
-Beware of the Management expecting you to preform pet transports for cash. You are expected to handle large amounts of cash while traveling across country, which is dangerous, not to mention, highly illegal.
-The entire company is shady. Do not fall for this scam. You are lucky if you get a W-2 come tax time.
