Pros
At the time the team I worked with were great people, liked my boss (3rd boss in the span of as many years). The sewers are awesome and (back then) would host breakfasts for entire design rooms.
Cons
Ridiculous tantrums thrown by owner/CEO, lots of family and old family friends in high positions, even HR is family so if you complain be aware that it will be taken with a grain of salt AND everyone will be informed about your complaints. This company is CHEAP. Like really cheap. As in the salary you get hired it is more than likely the salary you will leave with years later. Super long hours, mandatory Saturday work days week of market, regardless of your title if you are in design you are coming in for the day. Also SUNDAY work on April and October markets, so yup you will be working a span of up to 12 straight days and if you are salary you will not be compensated (unless a complimentary lunch is compensation enough for you). Endless politics between all that family and family friends mentioned earlier. Juniors design room is a nightmare full of ego's and cattiness. All in all I came and went by my own means, I wasn't fired and I am not a disgruntled ex-employee. Im simply stating the facts that this is an intense work environment that I would NEVER recommend anyone I know to apply for. If mental abuse, long hours and screaming don't bother you, this might be the perfect fit for you. I wish there was a negative 1 star rating.
