Pros

* Paid expenses are quickly taken care of. * Great formation tools included. * Decent, flexible insurances. * You get help, if you ask. * Decent job at helping you progress in your career should you wish to.

Cons

* Requires you to do many small tasks that should be handled by HR. * Non-existant, or not realistic bonus goals. * Wants you to get involved with the firm, but it is never rewarding. It is just chore after chore on top of work. * Wants you to attend useless meetings and presentation during lunch hours. * Weird and unclear policies (vacations, bonuses, etc.) that shifts without reasoning.

Pros

I have to say I’ve worked at another practice and can confirm Alithya found the cheat code to success. Great atmosphere, great leadership, great projects. The work is a grind and late hours are expected but not unnoticed. Alithya cares for Their employees. A lot of support. If you’re stuck on a task, you have a library full of people who can help you. Pretty solid group of people for D365 side. Travel is light. A big thing which is I think is great is the emphasis on AI. Alithya recently invested their efforts in AI to their clients and their employees which has been cool to watch. Can’t really see myself leaving this place to be honest. Be ready to learn and work hard, Rewards will come.

Cons

Sometimes deadlines can be tight and can get people on edge closer to go live but I think that’s normal in this industry. End of the day you’re still a team.

Pros

The name might look okay on a resume for a short stint

Cons

The "Smart-Shoring" Myth: The company uses "smart-shoring" as a deceptive marketing term for gutting the US workforce. They aggressively extract US dollars from clients while refusing to pay for the local talent that actually drives those relationships. By replacing experienced Americans with the cheapest possible offshore labor, they have created a massive communication and quality gap that is embarrassing to defend to clients. Broken Internal Hierarchy: The leveling system is essentially a sham. High-level supervisors and managers are routinely misclassified in paths to suppress wages and benefits. Professionals with decades of expertise are left to rot in stagnant development tiers with no path for advancement. It is a deliberate strategy to keep overhead low by ignoring the actual roles people perform. Sales-Obsessed and Delivery-Hollow: Alithya is a sales organization that happens to sell services it can no longer reliably deliver. The focus is entirely on the next contract, with zero regard for execution. This approach has been failing for years. You only have to look at the tanking stock price to see the market’s verdict on this leadership. Reward for Failure: The culture promotes leaders who have presided over years of business shrinkage. Instead of course-correcting, they continue to purge great workers in favor of a workforce that lacks the language skills and cultural context to support enterprise clients.
